A while back I was at TBM, to have a look at and test the Range Robot, a great way of training with moving targets, make sure to check out that article too. But that was not the only thing I tested, Dennis(owner TBM) also showed me this really cool and handy piece of equipment.

First glance

At first glance, you might think, ‘another gadget’ and I don’t need more of that..

Well, you might just reconsider, after reading this.

Seek thermal Reveal Firepro

When every second counts and lives are on the line, you need every tool possible to increase your operational speed and if possible enhance your situational awareness. Rescuing your child from a burning building, scanning a wooded area for a suspect on the run, or scanning a large building for movement, it is all possible and very easy with the handheld Seek thermal.

Back in the day..

I remember that we got this piece of equipment somewhere around 2002..

Yes, it works, and yes, you can operate it without giving your position away, but it is clear that this technology has come a long way.

For years, thermal imaging has been a vital technology, however mass-adoption has been cost-prohibitive. But this device clearly solves that problem too..

  • Long lasting rechargeable battery

My home

For my personal situation, I am considering the seek thermal as a really good option to add to my ‘EDC’ bag, my home is surrounded by woods and farmland, and we have little to no light outside. When my dog starts barking in the middle of the night, and I want to quickly scan the area from my bedroom window.. this is the ideal tool for the job, without using my flashlight and thus giving away my own position.

Operational use?

TBM did a lot of testing with different units, and the results are very good. If you are interested in this product, and want more detailed information about the possibilities, please contact TBM: info@tbm.nl
